So hey guys! I know it has been a while because I have not been blogging or posting but rather just enjoying myself, spending time with my family and cleaning, and in that time I have been out in my own little world doing my own thing and always practicing with new pictures and edits. In this time I was contacted by a business, a Photography action company, MCPActions, https://mcpactions.com/, which if you have never been to their site you should totally check it out. 

I was offered the opportunity to test and review a product that they offer, which is available for photographers to purchase from their online store and you know me, I agreed because I felt like maybe this would help get me out of the funk I have been feeling lately anyhow with so much stress. I do not regret my decision to do this either! Soon you will see why!

I was given the option to choose a action set to test out. I took quite some time narrowing down from the choices just to pick even a few without going right back and googling over all of them again and again, and let's be honest that was the hardest decision to make because MCP makes so many amazing actions that I could play with them all and never grow tired because of the endless possibilities for outcomes. :)

I was graced with getting to try the MCP Magic Skin Retouching action set https://mcpactions.com/product/magic-skin-retouching-photoshop-actions/, and I am by no means disappointed with the results I have achieved from this amazing action set! I at first only thought I was getting good skin retouches with the work I chose to do in post processing, but MCP has turned that whole world around, and with so much less work and totally awesome results!

You'll have to forgive the pictures, because they are not full size so the full details are not all there in these pictures, but I have decided to no longer post full scale/quality pictures online purely for the well being of my photos. You can how ever see the difference it has made in editing the skin, and smoothing out the colors for a full correction in blotchy or red patches. <3 However from the original day I edited one of the pictures, I am now seeing glowing on the before/after picture, which is totally my fault. I think when I put together the before and after photos and was not paying attention to the glow it casts when I had to scale it to fit in the frame, how ever I will post just the photo below (and an additional touch up I made when I noticed the glow somewhat took over the eyes)!




I really can't stop playing with the actions though, and I am planning on working on some more edits to add to this collection to keep testing out the set!


Well it looks like I know what I want for future gifts.. you know other then cameras, lenses and the sort. <3 Just buy me some actions and let me play with them some more!!!


Also doing this review has made me want to find more products to test out and review, because I have really enjoyed finding something new to spend my free time on. I do occasionally review books and such, but I really hope I can find more photography products because they have been the most fun!!
